About the The Lost Art of Foraging course
Taste & See That The Land is Good
Our world and contemporary culture is experiencing a deep hunger that is not being satisfied. For some it may be literal shortages of food; for others is a shortage of connection to the world around us.
What does it mean to eat and to be fed?
This course seeks to introduce participants to the experience of deep satisfaction that comes from place-based eating, allowing for the recognition of both ours and the land’s deepest needs and inviting us into sacred communion with the landscape around us. We will forage together, sample our findings and discuss what this means for ourselves and all of the rest of creation.
Please come prepared to walk (rain or shine), explore, find, and gather, all the while learning more about what surrounds and nourishes us than you ever thought possible!
